More than two decades helping projects move forward…
Now bringing that experience to you.
Siobhan Goodhew spent more than two decades working inside local government, across development assessment, compliance, infrastructure planning, and strategic leadership. She knows how councils think, how decisions get made, and where projects run into trouble.
What she kept noticing, throughout all of it, was a gap.
Property owners were navigating one of the most consequential processes of their lives, often without anyone genuinely in their corner. Council recommends town planners and private certifiers… ‘yet no one will answer my calls!’
TerraiQ exists to close that gap.
It does not matter how small your project is, we can and will help you navigate the process.
She knows the system from the inside.
Having worked across multiple Queensland councils at senior levels, Siobhan understands how the planning framework operates in practice, not just on paper. That insider knowledge means she can identify the smartest path forward for your project early, before time and money get spent in the wrong direction.
She's an advocate, not a gatekeeper.
Siobhan takes a practical, solutions-focused approach looking beyond minimum requirements to what’s actually possible.
She partners with you to understand your goals, liaises clearly with councils and certifiers, and keeps the focus on achieving the best outcome for your project.
She uses technology to work smarter.
TerraiQ combines deep planning expertise with smart technology to deliver faster, more efficient outcomes.
That means less waiting, clearer communication, and a more streamlined experience from first enquiry to final approval.
Siobhan holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New England and a Diploma of Local Government and Planning through the LGAQ. She is a full member of the Planning Institute of Australia (MPIA) and a Justice of the Peace (Qualified).
Her career spans senior roles at Fraser Coast Regional Council, Livingstone Shire Council, and Logan City Council, covering development assessment, compliance, water and wastewater infrastructure planning, land acquisitions and strategic leadership. She has led teams, built systems, and driven process improvements across some of Queensland's most active planning environments.
Planning has a reputation for being hard to navigate, and honestly, that reputation isn't entirely undeserved. But it doesn't have to feel that way.
Siobhan started TerraiQ because she believes people deserve clear answers, practical guidance, and a genuine advocate in their corner, regardless of whether their project is a backyard shed or a major commercial development.
Every project matters to the person behind it, and that's how TerraiQ treats them.
We know how council how decisions get made, and where projects run into trouble.
